Evolution Presentation Technologies is pleased to announce that Duncan Pimlott has been named President of our newly branded company. Duncan has been with Winnipeg AV Services for 12 years and previous positions included Rental/Staging Department Manager as well as General Manager. Duncan was instrumental in the process of merging Winnipeg AV, Nagels AV and Apex AV Rentals into Evolution and is now tasked with running the newly amalgamated company.

Steve Read, CEO of Evolution stated: “Taking into consideration Duncan’s organizational and management skills, he was an obvious choice for President of the new company. Duncan’s record of getting things done efficiently, and his considerable talents in customer service and project management puts him in the perfect postion to move the company forward. With Duncan taking charge of operations, I will have more time and energy to spend on growing our business by expanding our business into new markets”.

Apex AV Rentals, Nagels AV Services, Winnipeg AV Services and ThunderBay AV Services have announced that they are amalgamating as of October 1st, 2007, and will be re-branding as Evolution Presentation Technologies. The 4 companies have been under the same ownership since 2003/04, and have since been operated under their original names.

Steve Read, President of Evolution Presentation Technologies recently said “This amalgamation and rebranding is the realization of our long term objective of bringing together some of Western Canada’s oldest and best known AV Services companies into a single organization, allowing us to seamlessly provide our products and services to customers right across Western Canada. Along with our Axis Group partners (www.axisgroup.ca) we can now provide the same high quality, professional services from Vancouver to Halifax. We are extremely excited about our new name and look, and are anxious to roll it out to our clients in 2008.
