PROJECT SCOPE

This is a venue where we have an agreement in place to provide all things audio visual. From setting up meeting rooms, to hosting galas, AGMs, conferences, and even MMA fights – we do it all. We are often tasked to help transform a hockey arena into an elegant event space or work alongside the ski hill to provide audio visual services during sporting events.

GOAL

We strive to provide excellent product and customer service to not only the venue but the attendees as well. We play a huge role in being a part of supporting the Winsport team with creative ideas and seeing all their events through from planning to follow up. We work hand in hand with the sales team and end client from the beginning of the planning process – so there are never any unexpected surprises when it comes to audio visual requirements.

THE ASK

How do we prioritize innovative design with a venue growing in size while managing internal growth? We continuously want to execute creative event ideas, raise the bar, and turn Winsport – a sports training centre – into a meeting and venue destination outside of the downtown Calgary core.

MAIN ROADBLOCK TO OVERCOME

Winsport is a very unique venue in the sense that each space inside the space have their own challenges. A few of the vast applications of the spaces we transform on a regular basis are: the Canada Sports Hall of Fame, the International Arena, Bobsleigh Track, Festival Tent, The Ice House and of course, outdoor events on the ski hill.

THE SOLUTION

To keep things fresh – we keep our gear up to date. We continue pushing for excellent customer service from both our Account Manager assigned to the agreement as well as our technicians. We prioritize staying organized and forming real relationships with the venue staff. We work closely with the creative minds of Winsport to come up with original event solutions and ideas.

THE RECAP

Here at Evolution AV, we feel like we are a part of the Winsport team. We value the relationships we have with the event managers and sales team. By focusing on excellent customer service coupled with the right technology – we achieve results. We’re always looking to take the extra step, focus on the details, and go above and beyond for the Winsport team.
