Tech Tuesday - AMX CT Series Connectivity Kit

In this Tech Tuesday, we take a look at the CT Series Connectivity Kit from our partner, AMX Canada.

The AMX Connectivity & Transport (CT) Kit is an all-inclusive 4K60 4:4:4 auto-switching, scaling, and distance transport solution that include both the transmitter and receiver. The Conference Kit ads USB 2.0 peripheral switching for dynamic sharing of room USB devices.

 How it Works

First, the transmitter, which contains multiple connection points, is installed in a discreet location, such as underneath a boardroom table. Next, the receiver, located in another area of the room, is physically connected to the display, cameras and/or audio devices. This connection allows participants to walk in with a laptop or tablet and gain instant access to all of the AV in the room just by plugging in the transmitter.

The CTC transmits the device data to the receiver in full 4K resolution, enabling the same high-quality connection amongst all participating devices. To put it simply, the kit supports streamlined BYOD (bring your own device) integration in multiple rooms.
