Tech Tuesday - Logitech Rally Bar All-In-One Conference Solution

Logitech is one of Evolution AV’s most widely known vendor partners, and they have sent us some incredible conferencing technology over the past few Tech Tuesday episodes. Last time, we covered the MeetUp system. Today, we’re talking about the “big brother” of the MeetUp, Logitech’s incredible Rally Bar! The all-in-one video conferencing system for medium to large-sized boardrooms.

Video Conferencing Enhanced

The Rally Bar consists of all of the features of the MeetUp, on a larger scale, and with some high-end additions.

The camera inside the Rally is a 4K UHD, motorized pan, tilt and zoom camera that features lossless zoom and adaptable AI to keep the important subjects framed perfectly. An additional feature of the system is an AI viewfinder that enables Rally Bar to continuously track and reframe the subjects in the room, appropriate to where they’re positioned. For example, if someone is sitting at the boardroom table and then stands up to write on a whiteboard elsewhere in the room, they will be reframed so that everyone else in the room is also visible alongside them.

Adaptable AI Microphones

The microphone system in the Rally Bar uses Logitech’s RightSound system, which is an AI-based software that learns all it can about your meeting space and continuously adapts its auto-levelling and noise-cancelling technologies to constantly improve microphone pickup quality. The built-in active beamforming microphones create an optimal pickup zone for high-quality audio, regardless of the subject’s position at the table. Rally Bar comes with the option to add up to 3 more microphones into the system for better reach and quality inside larger spaces.

Crystal Clear Audio

The speaker system inside the Rally is powerful and clear, with some innovative additions. Port tubes within the speaker system for enhancing low-end, and a patent-pending anti-vibration enclosure that eliminates any potential rattling noises when the speaker is being used at high volumes (for example, to fill a larger scale boardroom).

Use Cases

The Rally Bar is an ideal solution for medium to large-sized boardrooms. Evolution AV’s Calgary boardroom contains an 8-foot long boardroom table that comfortably seats about 6 individuals. The Rally Bar was exceptionally well suited for this scenario and realistically could fill a boardroom larger than that with ease.
