Project Highlight: Mosaic Stadium
The relationship between Evolution AV and the Saskatchewan Roughriders began in 2014 when the organization was in search of an audio visual provider to outfit their Mosaic Stadium. We worked closely with the client to carefully identify their needs and designed solutions for over 50 rooms throughout the facility. The project was diverse and included executive boardrooms, fitness center, the locker room and a theatre consisting of 120 seats. When the Saskatchewan Roughriders were looking to incorporate multiple displays throughout their hydrotherapy room, we considered the increased humidity in the space and designed our installation around a solution that would withstand the unique environment.
Due to the nature of the project, high-performance sound systems and interactive displays were an absolute must for the client. With a large portion of the screens installed being used to assist in coaching and film review, it was imperative the technology was installed seamlessly.
The Technology
Our goal for the Mosaic Stadium was to provide the necessary technology to position the facility as one of the leading stadiums in Canada. Customized solutions were a requirement throughout, and it was a priority of ours to produce a state-of-the-art experience, regardless of the room.
The original design of the project was not the work of Evolution AV, and that of a third-party contractor. Once we were selected as the audio visual provider and began outlining our implementation plan, it was discovered that there were multiple issues with the existing design, and it would up to Evolution AV to make the necessary revisions in order to move forward.
Once we identified the shortcomings of the initial design, we worked closely with the client to ensure that our redesign reflected their original vision. The majority of the hours dedicated to the plan’s rebuild was at our expense, but it was imperative the project was completed on time. From the beginning we were committed to delivering to the client what was originally promised, and the extra hours put forward allowed us to keep our word . It was our prompt and dedicated response to our challenges, combined with our customizable AV options that has secured another project with the Saskatchewan Roughriders involving sound masking the organization’s entire administrative level.
