Every June, the AV industry heads to North America's largest professional audiovisual trade show. Here, manufacturers unveil their latest technologies, integrators explore what's next, and everyone gets a glimpse at what’s shaping the future of AV.

InfoComm 2026 attracted almost 30,000 attendees from 94 countries. The 807 exhibitors in attendance delivered no shortage of announcements, and with hundreds of new products launched every year, it's easy to get caught up in the headlines.

Our team spent the week in Las Vegas exploring the show floor, connecting with our manufacturing partners, and getting hands-on with the latest innovations across the AV industry. One trend was clear: manufacturers are creating complete, connected ecosystems instead of individual, stand-alone products.

Commercial Audio Is Becoming Smarter, Simpler, and More Connected

Audio was one of the biggest themes at InfoComm 2026. Rather than introducing one game-changing product, manufacturers focused on making commercial audio systems easier to install, easier to manage, and more flexible for today's meeting rooms, classrooms, and shared spaces.

From ceiling microphones and wireless systems to DSPs, amplifiers, and loudspeakers, the latest products are designed to deliver clearer speech, simplify deployment, and integrate more seamlessly with the rest of an organization's AV systems.

Here are some of the announcements that caught our attention:

Shure

Shure MXA925 Ceiling Array Microphone

Shure, InfoComm’s Headline Partner, made some big announcements this year. The introduction of the MXA925 Ceiling Array Microphone marks the 10th anniversary of the Microflex Advance family.

The MXA925 builds on Shure's beamforming microphone technology by adding onboard IntelliMix® DSP, allowing AI-powered echo cancellation, noise reduction, and de-reverberation to be processed directly within the device. Automatic Coverage™ technology focuses audio pickup on specific coverage areas while simultaneously minimizing unwanted sounds from other parts of the room. These speakers can deliver the highest quality audio performance even in the most challenging acoustic spaces.

By moving more signal processing into the microphone itself, the MXA925 reduces the need for external DSP resources while simplifying installation and improving speech quality for video conferencing, voice lift, and AI-powered collaboration platforms.

It’s no wonder the Shure MXA925 won the rave[PUBS] Best of InfoComm 2026, SCN Installation Product Award 2026, and AV Technology Best of Show 2026 awards.

Audio-Technica

Audio-Technica D50 Wireless

Wireless audio also saw significant innovation this year. Building on decades of wireless audio expertise, Audio-Technica’s newest platform is designed for high-density RF environments across corporate AV, education, government, houses of worship, theatres, and live event spaces.

The D50 digital UHF wireless system supports up to eight channels of Dante® networked audio within a single rack space while offering onboard DSP, long battery life, scalable system expansion, and high-fidelity digital audio transmission.

As organizations continue to move towards multipurpose environments, flexible wireless audio systems are becoming increasingly important. The D50 provides a scalable wireless platform without sacrificing performance or valuable rack space.

The D50 digital UHF wireless system was named an AV Technology Best of Show 2026 winner.

Sennheiser

Sennheiser Team Connect Ceiling M Plus

Ceiling microphone technology continues to evolve as manufacturers look for ways to simplify installation without compromising performance.

Sennheiser expanded its TeamConnect lineup with the TeamConnect Ceiling M (TCC M) Plus, designed to simplify deployment while maintaining the beamforming technology the series is known for. The solution combines trusted Sennheiser audio performance with a new generation of features designed to reduce deployment effort, simplify system configuration, and support scalable AV environments.

The new feature, PartnerLink, is co-developed with Q-SYS and is engineered to simplify how microphones are configured with leading AV platforms. By simplifying the configuration and commissioning process, the TCCM Plus streamlines integration in supported control systems.

Combined with updates to DeviceHub which launched earlier this year, IT teams can remotely monitor and manage microphones across multiple buildings from a browser-based interface.

The TCC M Plus earned both an SCN Most Innovative Audio Hardware award and an AV Technology Best of Show 2026 award.

Biamp

Biamp Parlé TCM-X with Voice Lift Capabilities

Beyond audio capture, manufacturers also focused on improving speech reinforcement and centralized system management.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Biamp introduced Parlé Voice Lift, expanding the capabilities of its Parlé ceiling microphone family. Working alongside TesiraFORTÉ X DSP processors, Voice Lift reinforces a presenter's voice throughout classrooms, training, and corporate spaces to deliver clear, conversation-level audio without the need for traditional microphones.

Biamp also showcased Biamp Workplace, a cloud-based management platform. Monitor equipment, resolve issues, adjust settings, and keep spaces running smoothly remotely from any location. Built for enterprise scalability, the new platform is designed to simplify remote AV management, ensuring consistent performance and seamless collaboration across every building.

The Parlé Voice Lift was chosen for the SCN Most Innovative Audio Hardware award and named an AV Technology Best of Show 2026 winner.

AtlasIED

AtlasIED Atlas+Fyne Premium Pendant Loudspeakers

Commercial audio extends well beyond conferencing, and AtlasIED introduced several products designed for distributed audio, paging, and background music.

AtlasIED announced the newest addition to their Atlas+Fyne IsoFlare Series. The new, premium pendant loudspeaker is specifically designed for high or open ceilings, delivering high quality performance that seamlessly integrates into modern architectural spaces.

The range includes several sizes, 4, 6, and 8-inch, as well as a separate narrow dispersion version for higher ceilings and a subwoofer for extra bass performance. This addition completes their Atlas+Fyne IsoFlare portfolio, which now includes ceiling, surface-mount, and pendant loudspeakers.

AtlasIED also highlighted their new Atmosphere AZP Smart Amplifiers. The AZP Series combines onboard DSP with integrated speaker tuning, flexible matrix mixing, and loudspeaker management tools, including EQ, crossovers, and limiters. It has a built-in message player for paging and announcements, as well as full sound-masking capabilities for scalable amplification and simplified installation.

The Atlas+Fyne Pendant Loudspeakers were named an AV Technology Best of Show 2026 winner, and the Atmosphere AZP Smart Amplifiers was awarded the Sound & Video Contractor Best of Show 2026.

What’s Next
